The Aftersales Engineering Officer is responsible for managing post-sale customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction with the products or services purchased. This role involves Conducting service optimization, spare parts management, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the maintenance and aftersales team. The candidates would be overseeing the delivery of services such as maintenance, repair, and warranty processes.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to all aftersales problem resolution on clients and Bisedge owned materials handling equipment.
  • To actively support various categories of all aftersales maintenance activities including inspection, preventive, corrective and proactive maintenance of all forklifts, reach trucks and other related equipment.
  • Support technical team to address complex technical challenges related to material handling equipment.
  • Provide support in analyzing and optimizing service and maintenance procedures.
  • Contribute to all continuous improvement ideas in after-sales processes.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards in all after-sales activities.
  • Work with the team to continuously develop initiatives that enhance the overall quality of service provided.
  • Always support all aftersales services spare parts management for efficient and effective stock optimizations to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Contribute and provide technical support to procurement team to enhance end-to-end process flow of all aftersales repairs and maintenance parts.
  • Assist in analyzing data related to after-sales performance.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports highlighting key performance metrics.
  • Actively engage with cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and skill development

Requirements

  • BEng, BTech or HND in Electrical, Mechanical, or other related Engineering discipline
  • First Class or Second-Class Upper division
  • A knowledge of various categories of battery-powered material handling equipment operations and maintenance.
  • Predictive and corrective maintenance planning
  • Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Equipment failure diagnosis and troubleshooting
  • Effective interpretation of electrical and mechanical schematics
