The QA/QC Lead is responsible for ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency across Bisedge's logistics and infrastructure operations, as well as internal control activities at the head office. This role will oversee and implement quality control processes, compliance management, and risk assessments across various departments, including Finance, Technical Engineering, Client Retention, HR, and more. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to local, national, and international quality standards, regulations, and internal SOPs across all departments. 
  • Conduct periodic compliance audits and risk assessments. 
  • Develop and implement compliance training programs for employees. 
  • Develop and implement internal control procedures across departments, including Finance, Technical Engineering, Client Retention, and HR. 
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. 
  • Identify and mitigate risks across departments. 
  • Develop and implement quality control processes for logistics and infrastructure operations. 
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure quality and efficiency. 
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient forklift operations across all warehouse and site locations.
  • Conduct periodic compliance audits and risk assessments specific to forklift operations.
  • Develop and enforce forklift operating procedures and best practices.
  • Lead certification, re-certification, and ongoing training of forklift operators and other relevant staff. 
  • Maintain a central database of certifications and expiration dates.
  • Conduct regular audit to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of all equipment, including forklifts. 
  • Monitor and track equipment utilization, downtime, and service logs. 
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, conducting root-cause analyses and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Report findings to senior management with clear recommendations.
  • Liaise with various departments, including HR, Finance, Technical Engineering, and Client Retention, to ensure compliance and quality control. 
  • Support procurement in vendor evaluation and contract management. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Quality Control, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control, compliance, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. 
  • Certified quality control or compliance certification is a plus. 
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, quality control standards, and internal controls. 
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills. 
  • Proficient in office tools, such as SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. 
  • Proactive in identifying risks and solving problems.
  • Technically inclined with the ability to interpret equipment manuals and maintenance logs. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to lead teams and communicate across departments.
